Thermal Bridging Calculation and Design Brief Workshop
October 14 @ 12:00 am

Adopted January 2025, NECB2020 requires that overall thermal transmittances of assemblies including thermal bridging for clear wall and linear interfaces such as slab penetrations through wall assemblies must be considered.
This course de-mystifies the calculation of psi values, clear wall and whole wall R values. The course is designed to help participants design to reach code compliance with respect to thermal bridging.
In this course Building Enclosure Labs shows participants how to use our home-grown embodied carbon calculation tool and how to construct design briefs that concisely list wall assembly components, clear field R values, density and embodied carbon.
This event will count towards 10 hours of structured learning towards OAA and PEAK continuing education units
