Steve is BELi’s newest employee having recently left a career designing scientific testing instrumentation used by the solar power and bio communities. Steve has an MSc in physics from the University of Waterloo and is an expert in a variety of scientific simulation techniques and softwares, opto-mechanical design, radiometry and spectroscopy.
Steve has a background in education, having designed and delivered educational lab experiments in UWO’s undergraduate physics laboratory for a number of years.
At BELi, Steve is focusing on bringing new and engaging forms of education to the building science community as well as providing momentum to the continuous improvement of BELi’s masonry test lab.
Steve lives in London Ontario and in his spare time Steve plays guitar, runs on trails, mountain bikes and longs for the next backwoods camping trip.
